I have no plan when I sit down to create, they grow, it often seems intentionally, into themselves beneath my hands.

 My latest treasures, stone-age earings……

 

Ocean Cardigan,

Though im now so far away from the ocean waves the vast expance of the arching sky reminds me of it everyday. Ive stiched the movement of the waves, the swirl and the hidden treasures into this thick warm wollen cardigen. It fastens with a broach so can be adjusted to fit but is about a size 12. Moddled here by the beautiful Jill.

And Jill again, bouncing on the tramp in a lovely strechy tee-shirt with a removable hood.

Mystery Amulet

 This piece is a mystery, I do not know the meaning of the three amethysts, Or why I suddenly had to abandon my chores and sit in the sunshine to assemble these particular objects in this particular way. My only clue lies in the pages of Patrick Woodrofe’s “Second Earth” A unseasonably warm wind riffled through the pages till it came to this picture and the line…

“And all its ways were a motive to themselves…”

Maybe it doesn’t wish to be understood

 I’ve stitched the essential safety pin to the back so you can attach it to anything from a shawl or a jacket to a hair tie or a bag. Whether for its beauty or because it holds some meaning for you. I hope it brings you joy.
